Customer Loyalty Programs?

A Quick Lube, Fast Lube, Lube and Oil, Oil Changer or any Auto Care or other Retail concern can begin to lose business by putting their customers into neat little boxes disguised as Loyalty Programs. I will say it now, the Best Customer Loyalty Program is providing the Best Customer experience via Customer S E R V I C E.

Ever oversell a product to find you lost a sale? Doing too much usually is a result of seeking sales perfection, or perhaps playing into the hands of Pareto's Law. We want the 100%, seldom do we settle for the 80% and when we seek that elusive 20% - we begin to lose the 80%. Keep in mind that any Sale is a "Sale Perfected" and "Sales Perfection" differs from one customer to another.

I can save money at Walmart, I can shop at many places that I have "Loyalty Cards" on my key chain, but when I want quality and the best experience ... I frequent the "Mom and Pop" shop that has the freshest produce, freshest cuts of meat, and best customer service. My reward is appreciation for the fact that I choose to spend my money with them. When I check out, I pay what the person in front of me pays ...

I am loyal to many businesses. They all earned my loyalty by providing me with the best customer service, and looking me in the eye and saying Thank You as I tendered payment. A piece of plastic does not ever justify a means for me to be "loyal". Pay me to be "loyal"? Give me a break ... just look after my needs.
